Current Research Projects:

  • Collaborative network: Center for Research in Geospatial Information Sciences (GEO Center (SECIHTI Center)), National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE), and Tec de Monterrey, for the project: Early detection of mental disorders through the application of advanced artificial intelligence using psychophysiological attributes obtained from sensor data and voice analysis.
  • Collaborative project with the El Salvador Government’s Cybersecurity Agency on cyberdefense: Participation in the subgroup on Proactive Cyberdefense and Countering Disinformation.

Research Interests:

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to healthcare, specifically to the early diagnosis of mental disorders such as depression and anxiety.
  • Cybersecurity, post-quantum algorithms, and advanced intrusion detection systems.
